| Position Specifications: |
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in website design or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Higher Education
- Three years related experience
- An equivalent combination of experience and education from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired may be considered
- Demonstrated creative use of various contemporary web development and support tools including, but not limited to: XHTML, XML, Java, JavaScript, CSS, server-side programming, SQL, Flash, and graphics editing software.
- Knowledge of website design tools similar, but not limited to, Quark, DreamWeaver, PhotoShop.
- Demonstrated abilities in creating secure and accessible database driven websites implemented with programs similar, but not limited to: MySQL, Postgress, BerkeleyDB, Oracle;
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn and ability to comply with CWC Policies and Procedures
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and intellectual skills
- Commitment to quality customer service and collaborative management
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow multiple projects and tasks through to completion with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team effort

| Duties and Responsibilities: |
Within the scope of CWC policies and procedures, the Web Developer:
- Designs, produces and manages the WyomingPBS website and associated portal(s)
- Administers the implementation and design of online web services for WyomingPBS members, viewers and the general public, including online program information, membership registration and renewal, video streaming, podcasting, ecommerce, and any other online services that the station may direct
- Works closely with the Wyoming PBS Director of Content, Promotions Manager, General Manager, and other station departments to monitor and continually update web content ensuring a dynamic, up-to-date web site
- Implements web templates and web styles that reinforce the Wyoming PBS brand and that meets marketing and communications standards and goals
- Implements online marketing strategies developed by WyomingPBS
- Oversees the planning and development of web-based applications and tools that communicate with internal and external audiences
- Provides regular reports, statistics, and analysis regarding visitors to the station web site
- Collaborates with department staff to provide training to staff on usage of the content management system, portal, and other related web applications
- In consultation with staff, analyzes, evaluates, promotes and capitalizes on technologies that will further the station's mission

| Work Environment: | Work is primarily performed in an office setting under limited supervision

| Compensation: | Professional; Senior Technical; Exempt; Full-time; 12-month
Compensation ranges from $37,406 to $42,082 and a generous benefits package. Position is open until filled. |
